I’ve spent the last few years learning a few languages, and teaching Irish. Always baffles me that my German, Hindi and Russian books are all in English, so I can study myself, and then all the Irish books are in Irish.
And we wonder why students can’t study themselves?
So the aim of this website is to explain Irish grammar in plain English. Mostly, to help people write their own sentences.
I keep hearing “I just learn it all off, I can’t write my own stuff in Irish”.
My aim was to do sentence structure and other fun things like that. But with the schools closed I’ll throw up Junior Cert / Leaving Cert notes as well.
